Amber grew up in northern California. She attended California State University and earned her Bachelors of Arts in Theater Arts. She minored in Art History. In 2007 she was diagnosed with uterine cancer and went into remission after having chemotherapy. In 2013, she was diagnosed with stage 3 Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. She died tragically on April 2, 2016 from an accidental drug overdose.
